Derek Fenton -- A New England Craftsman

Hello! I grew up in New England and now reside with my wife and 2 children in Connecticut. We live in a registered, historic, Collinsville farmhouse that I remodeled from top to bottom. I won’t soon forget the day that we leveled the floors by jacking up the entire house! Plaster cracked and broke, wood floors splintered, and I smiled from ear to ear. I couldn’t wait to bring my ideas for the home to life! That was many years ago. The home is now a living manifestation of my work and the place where our children are growing up.

Today, my state-of-the-art shop is where you’ll likely find me. After a decade of making due with good tools, I have now treated myself to some great tools! Those tools have created warm, inviting spaces for many families around Connecticut and New York. I look forward to talking with you about your ideas. I well know that it can take some time to fully flesh out a concept. Let’s start with a hot cup of coffee and a blank paper pad and see what we can imagine.
